Paying the tab for healthcare reform

AS USUAL, the Globe is twisting reality to achieve its editorial goal ("Find the money soon," Editorial, July 25). The shortfall in funding for the universal healthcare law will fall entirely on businesses, including small businesses like my own with 16 employees. I purchase Blue Cross HMO Blue for my employees and pay far more of it than many employers. If Blue Cross and other insurers are forced to pay an additional $33 million, is the Globe that naive to think they will just pay it? Or will it appear as an increase in my premiums next year? Is the Globe so naive to think that hospitals will just willingly pay more? Or when it's negotiation time again with the insurers, are they going to demand an increase in payments, which, in turn, would cause the insurer to charge me, the business owner, more? There, my friends at the Globe, is trickle-down economics at its simplest, and why it's hard to attract businesses to Massachusetts.
