AS TEACHERS at a Boston public elementary school with a "high-risk" population, we join the Globe in applauding the initiative proposed by city councilors Maureen Feeney and John Connolly that would require families of truant children to appear in court ("Truancy begins at home," Editorial, Sept. 29).
