"CHECKING RACISM'S postelection pulse" was almost humorous. Racism isn't going anywhere, black president or no black president. So long as people have different color eyes, body types, clothing styles, etc., prejudices among people will always exist. Let's face facts. Obama lost among white voters overall, according to exit-poll data. Have we forgotten that Hillary Clinton, not Obama, won the Massachusetts primary? Equality is no match against racism in 2008, not so long as we subdivide ourselves as black, brown, red, yellow, and white. When will people realize there is only one race in the world - the human race?
