RE "DIAL 'S' for shame": Shame on the Globe for not mentioning the incredible amount of e-waste created from discarded cellphones. I carry my four-year-old phone, and have no desire to replace it as long as it works and serves my purposes. I carry it quite proudly, knowing that I am not needlessly and selfishly contributing to the waste polluting our earth.
