IT'S EASY for anyone to condemn the 24-year-old Green Line operator who was sending a text message when he rear-ended a trolley as being reckless and stupid, but how many of us text message or talk on our cellphones while we are driving? How many of us will continue to do so even after this completely avoidable accident? Can someone please explain to me why people think it's perfectly OK to talk on a cellphone or text message while driving?
