RE “BOSTON’S unruly riders’’ (Page A1, Aug. 7): Boston does not ticket motorists for ignoring traffic laws, so what case can be made for ticketing unruly bicycle riders? Start at the top, and work down. I walk and respectfully cycle all over town. I am keenly aware that traffic lights, stop signs, and crosswalks are optional for Boston drivers and cyclists.
