THE SEPT. 29 letter “Angry indeed — at candidates who kowtow to Tea Party,’’ by J. Halprin, was the best I have seen in a while.

I suggest it be reprinted every day for a week, so that everyone who reads the editorial pages of the newspaper can get an idea about what makes the majority of us here in Massachusetts angry.

The Tea Party took place in Boston. It was carried out by brave men who were willing to give up creature comforts to bring home a point; this current group of Tea Partiers bears no resemblance whatsoever to those men.

Most people in the country have no idea how we feel about this name being bandied about by a bunch of lunatic fringe, self-indulgent whiners. It is insulting.

We can only hope they won’t have too great an influence on the upcoming elections.
