City has leaders — at least some — who are doing the job

WHILE I agree with the substance of your May 21 editorial “Mayor Lantigua is under fire, but Lawrence is still on track,’’ I would add that the City Council, especially the financial leadership of Daniel Rivera, councilor at large, should be praised for their efforts and successes. The talented local leadership of this city will save it, in spite of poor selections by the electorate from time to time.
