THE CASEY Anthony verdict ought to be an inspiration to all who believe in the concept of innocent until proven guilty (“Anthony found not guilty in daughter’s death; Convicted of lying to law enforcement,’’ Page A2, July 6). The prosecution holds all the cards in a capital case like this. The state has unlimited resources, paid for by you and me, and it exploits that advantage to the hilt. The justice system is no longer about justice (if it ever was). It’s a contest to see who can nail a scalp to the wall.
