YOUR RECENT editorial about Amber Miller running the Chicago Marathon while going into labor was absurd, and borderline embarrassing (“Pregnant marathoner: Run, mommy, run,’’ Oct. 21). There is no “controversy on how women should behave,’’ and you should be ashamed of yourselves for suggesting there is. The only controversy is a difference of medical opinions. Your attempt to spin that into a fabricated controversy of the role of women in society in order to invent sexism where none exists, just so you can denounce it, is cheap journalism and beneath the standards of a world-class newspaper.
