Gawker update

Two weeks ago, I reported that three of the New York media blog Gawker's top editors -- including managing (read: top) editor Choire Sicha -- had suddenly quit. What would become of the flagship blog in Nick Denton's empire? Would it shrivel up and blow away?

Denton isn't taking any chances. According to today's New York Times, early next month he will become the managing editor, at least on a temporary basis, of Gawker.
