Ta-Nehisi Coates, the Atlantic's newest blogger (he's got an addictive voice) says he's fed up with the campaign cliche of "wine track" vs. "beer track" voters.

Not only is it overused, but it leaves some people out:

This false analogy leaves no place for the many tribes of black voters -- "The Hennessy Track," "The Courvoisier Track," "The MGD Track." Once again the media conspires to keep black folks out. And it isn't just us …

I hadn't heard of the beer-track-related exchange between Steve Kroft, of 60 Minutes, and Barack Obama that he quotes either, one that's pretty embarrassing to Kroft.
