Cozying up to Hesiod
A couple of weeks ago I asked whether it might make sense for the Loeb Classical Library -- which includes both Latin or Greek texts and, on the opposing page, an English translation -- to be used in language classes. The item has generated several interesting responses, including from Jeffrey Henderson, the B.U. classicist who edits the series.
Meanwhile, the Harvard University Press publicity blog takes note of another use for the Loeb volumes, courtesy of the Pottery Barn catalog: as interior-decor flair. For that special look that combines coziness and affectation
