Just another day at the office for students at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, the oldest college in Boston. Globe staff photographer Dina Rudick captured first-year students in instructor Ed DePierro's chemistry lab, which looks out on Longwood Avenue. The students are mixing hot and cold water to investigate thermal interactions; styrofoam cups act as insulators.
