Finally, wearable technology for a part of the body that really needs it.
Those silly 3-D glasses are absolutely useless outside a movie theater. But whether the nano-particles of activated bamboo charcoal embedded in the fibers of Greenyarn's Eco-Fabric socks actually work - the company claims the fabric is antibacterial, antifungal, antistatic, and antistinky - runners say that the socks feel good, reports Charlie Rodgers, manager of Bill Rodgers Running Center at Faneuil Hall Marketplace. And the socks ($10 or $12, depending on length) certainly don't look as silly as the glasses.
