With its beaklike spout and curving form, Menu’s elegant porcelain teapot looks vaguely familiar: Is it a bird, maybe, sitting on its nest? Yes, that’s exactly the idea. (And inside, a tea “egg” holds loose leaves.) The lid is made of rubber and plastic, so it holds in heat and won’t shatter if you drop it. Just be ready to figure out a good perch for this bird ($110 at the Institute of Contemporary Art gift shop). The pot is so pretty you’ll want to store it out in the open. – Rachel Travers
