With airfare as high as it is, that trip to Mexico may have to wait. In the meantime, take a trip to Tis-tiK. Among the new Harvard Square shop's handcrafted jewelry (most of it colorful and bold) and gifts (picture frames, textiles) are several bags emblazoned with the face of Frida Kahlo. The large mesh style ($20) is the perfect size for groceries or a day at the beach. The smaller rope bag ($75 and $120, depending on size) is more of a purse, evoking summers in Mexico City - no plane tickets required.
