It was zip, zip, hooray on fall runways, with the formerly hidden closure front, center, and sideways. It's both sexy and unexpected, says Boston fashion designer Daniela Corte. Her latest collection features bold zippers top to bottom on short skirts, up the ankle on form-fitting leggings, and replacing the side seam on slinky satin dresses. "It's so easy to get on and off," she says, "and you can open it up to show more leg." As seen here around town, women are happily adding some zip to their lives.
