No bones about it -- skulls and rock fashions have gone mainstream. "It's a cross between punk and edgy and sweet and innocent," says Yvette Teale, area manager for the Betsey Johnson stores. Case in point: Johnson's pink cardigan with a heart-eyed skull on the back and heart-shaped buttons in the front. "It's all about mixing hard with soft," Teale continues, such as lace with leather or heavy metal jewelry over chiffon. "Strappy gladiator sandals with bold hardware are really taking off," she adds. As seen here around town, the looks are between soft rock and a hard place.
