The complete package
More and more men are sporting bow ties.
“When you see someone wearing a nice bright bow tie and a colorful shirt, you think things are going well for him,” says Dana Mosher, owner of the 90-year-old Mosher’s Men’s Store in Newton Centre. Perhaps that’s why the jaunty accessory is so popular in these parlous times. Mosher says pattern mixing keeps getting bolder, such as floral print ties on striped shirts, or paisleys paired with checks. And young guys add the cool factor by wearing bow ties with untucked shirts and jeans, he adds. As seen here around town, it’s the neck’s big thing.
