If black is taking over your wardrobe, maybe it’s time for a clean slate. “Gray is much less severe and a lot easier to have fun with,” says Kristin Rawson, style director for Ann Taylor stores. Not only will it soften the look of a tailored suit or dress, but it also mixes well with this season’s popular berry colors, she says. And pale dove-hued accessories, such as gloves, belts, hose, and booties, are a sophisticated way to update all black or brown. As seen here around town, why would anyone hide going gray?
