Necklaces for little ones get Mom’s seal of approval.
What little girl can resist her first strand of pearls? “They love pink, different shapes, and itty-bitty sizes,” says Lisa Canale Trachtman, owner of Abeille in Brookline Village. But most of all, girls like designing their own pearl necklaces at the store’s “Mom & Me” jewelry-making classes (one is offered today). “Even 5-year-olds create some really beautiful pieces,” says Trachtman.
