It’s been 14 years since he served in public office, but Bruce Bolling, 62, is still involved in the community. Since 1994, the lifelong Roxbury resident, who was a former mayoral candidate and first African-American president of the Boston City Council, has been the executive director of MassAlliance, which provides training and technical assistance to minority- and women-owned contracting businesses.
