Freddy 'Boom Boom' Cannon, Boston's original rocker, has lived in California since the early ’60s, when he was a teen idol with the Top 10 hit “Palisades Park.” The Revere native, 66, married to his 'East Boston' girl for 52 years, flew back a lot lately to see his beloved Red Sox and to promote his new rally song, “Down at Fenway Park.”
