You can almost taste the summer sun in the rose petal raspberry float at Beacon Hill Bistro. The fresh, sweet flavor actually comes from the drink's rose soda (with raspberry puree), made by pastry chef Shannon Black with help from chef Jason Bond he forages for the rose petals in Westport. Poured over just a spoonful of litchi sorbet, it's nothing like any brown cow you've ever sipped.
