Do-over of the day
Harvard Business School celebrates its 100th anniversary this year, and employees were all given nice Centennial calendars for 2008 as a little prezzie. Today there was an envelope in my mailbox containing a page-sized sticker of the month of September 2008, with this note:
Ever wish you had an extra day in the week?We gave you one!
Our apologies--our Centennial calendar erroneously includes two September 15ths. We have enclosed a decal with the correct September 2008 dates that can be easily adhered to your calendar.
The Centennial Planning Team
You go, Centennial Planning Team. I'm not entirely sure how you could mess something like that up in the first place, but given that you did, good recovery. The decal page is a clever fix. And the note is amusing, brief, and extremely clear. Well played!
