Passing the bar exam
Blogger Boston Brahmina has a great post on the etiquette of picking up, or attempting to pick up, women in bars. It's very blunt and fairly profane, so don't say I didn't warn you. (And if the entire idea of people hooking up in bars offends you, don't read it.) But it's good advice if you don't want to be this guy:

Boston Brahmina runs a very outspokenly feminist, liberal blog. Don't make the mistake of thinking more traditional women would disagree with her assessment, though. Women may differ on who we think would make a good president, but we tend to be remarkably unanimous in our judgment of who is being a jerk at the local pool hall.
