The gift of the Milo
No, we still haven't figured out who you are.
We can eliminate some suspects, because many of our friends and neighbors are out of town this Christmas. And were last Christmas, and the Christmas before that.
So whoever it is that has left a can or jar of Milo on our porch every year since Milo came to live with us: we know you are not our landlord. Nor Amazing Genius Science Girl. Nor the Traveling Psychologist. Nor Verena. Nor several of the Fabulous Bureaucrats. We know who you are not, but we do not know who you are.
You amuse us. Every year, you amuse us. Do you know that the slogan of Milo, the Energy Drink, is "GO and GO and GO"? If you know this, and if you know our Milo, the appropriateness of that must strike you.
Whoever you are, consider this a thank-you note.
