Dorothy Sanger
Dorothy Sanger, a longtime Wellesley resident active in community affairs, died Sunday at Baptist Nassau Hospital in Fernandina Beach, Fla. She was 90.

Mrs. Sanger was born and raised in Maryland. She graduated from high school in 1937 and moved to New York, then to San Francisco, where she met the man who would be her husband of 64 years, Sabin Sanger. The couple moved to Wellesley in 1945.

Mrs. Sanger was a member of the Junior League and Kiwanis Club. She was also an active member of her church, and was a member at Wellesley Country Club and Brae Burn Country Club in West Newton.

An avid bridge player, Mrs. Sanger was also member of her country club's curling team.

In addition to her husband, she leaves a daughter, Mary Sanger of Newport; a son, Stephen of Portsmouth, N.H.; and one granddaughter.
