Anne Vallely-Kaminsky of Nashua died Monday of ovarian cancer at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, N.H. She was 58.

Born in Boston, Mrs. Vallely-Kaminsky dedicated her career to people touched by Down syndrome. She worked at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center and was the cofounder of PODS - Parents of Children with Down Syndrome. She was also a past president of the Northern New England Down Syndrome Congress.

Ms. Vallely-Kaminsky leaves her husband, Thomas R. Kaminsky, of Nashua, a son, Griffin T. Kaminsky of Nashua; two brothers, Gary Vallely of Sharon and Joseph Vallely of Jamaica Plain; and two sisters, Germaine Riordan of Milton and Bernadette Vallely of Needham. A funeral Mass will be said today at Immaculate Conception Church in Nashua.
