SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. — The remains of a US Marine from Swanton killed in Afghanistan are due back in Vermont.
The body of Lance Corporal Anthony Rosa, 20, is scheduled to arrive at Burlington International Airport at noon today.
The Vermont National Guard is helping to coordinate a pro- cession from the airport to Swanton. Vermonters are encouraged to line the route carrying US flags.
Calling hours for Lance Corporal Rosa are set for Friday in Kidder Funeral Home in Swanton with a funeral Saturday at 11 a.m. at Missisquoi Valley Union High School, where he graduated in 2008.
He was killed Sept. 23 in Helmand Province.![]()
