Walking the halls of North Quincy High School, Peter Chrisom went out of his way to get to know every student. “He made sure these kids knew they had someone in the principal’s office they could always talk with and trust,’’ said Richard DeCristofaro, superintendent of schools in Quincy. “He had an involvement and investment in each and every student.’’ Mr. Chrisom, who was principal of North Quincy High School for 26 years, died Nov. 24 in Milton Hospital of a heart attack. He was 81.
