Al Vega, who kept performing with a trio after turning 90 earlier this year and who over the decades played in Boston venues with a roster of jazz royalty that included Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis, Stan Getz, Billie Holiday, and Nina Simone, died Friday.
