Men belonging to the Kikuyu tribe run away from an approaching police truck after the mob had blocked the main road connecting Kenya's capital with the town of Naivasha. The police dispersed the Kikuyu mob by using tear gas and firing in the air. Kenyan police have been given orders to shoot to kill in a bid to stem weeks of violence, a police commander said.
