They'll be able to keep their jobs after a Special Town Meeting last night. The change comes because Wrentham expects to receive at least $300,000 more in state aid for the fiscal year beginning July 1 than the budget approved in April had contemplated. One police officer and one teacher have already been laid off, however, and some empty teaching positions will not be filled.
