Looking for the next big thing in Newton

Newton resident Dan Bricklin is working on a new piece of software, but the pressure's off. Why?

Because the 54-year-old Bricklin is the guy who invented the spreadsheet program, creating VisiCalc, which was released in 1979 -- the prehistoric era of computers, the Associated Press reports today.
