The team is in action today at Milford, which is always a big game on both teams' schedule. Local fans can listen on the radio at WMRC-1490 AM. "Our strong start is because this group believes in playing together as a team," said Framingham manager Bunkie Smith after his team topped Shrewsbury, 11-1, on Monday night. "That's the first thing that was instilled in them [this year], playing together as a team. And then I'd say pitching and defense. That's what wins, and our pitching and defense has been phenomenal." Framingham returns home on Wednesday night with a doubleheader against Northborough, one of the top teams in Zone 4. Posted by the Boston Globe City & Region Desk at 12:13 PM
