Gas prices down -- again

REGIONAL

Down, down, the gas prices go. And where they'll stop, who knows?

A stroll today around the area near the Globe West office on Speen Street revealed that all three gas stations near the intersection of Route 30 and Speen are at $2.49. That's far better than the nearly $3 price posted on the pumps just recently.

Filling up a 13-gallon tank, you could save $6 or $7.

Salem's Auto Service Station in Holliston is a whole dime cheaper at $2.39. Some of the highest gas prices can be found in Newton, where a gallon of gas can still cost you $2.58.
