« Grinches in Wellesley? | Main | Susan Donelan, 51, assistant dean at BC » Tuesday, October 10, 200640B draws scrutinyREGION The program that has brought new affordable housing to many of Boston's western suburbs is facing some criticism today. The Inspector General's office is scrutinizing developers that have built housing under the Chapter 40B law, which exempts them from local zoning as long as they set aside at least 20 percent of the housing units for low-to-moderate income families, and limit their profits to 20 percent. Sullivan told the Globe he's concerned that some developers may be skirting the law and reaping huge profits from the projects. -- Erica Tochin Posted by the Boston Globe City & Region Desk at 09:50 AM
