There's nothing like a meat raffle

ASHLAND

It's time for a meat raffle, that odd kind of fund raiser in which the prizes are all packed with protein.

The Ashland Lions Club is holding a charity meat raffle this Saturday at TJ Food and Spirits on Route 135.

Prizes include pork loins, pork and beef roasts, hams, hot dogs, Italian sausages, cheese, sirloin strips, chops, and a variety of steaks.

The raffle will run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., with free early-bird tickets available at 12:45.
