Kicking off the playoffs

The feast is over. On to the playoffs.

Four area high school teams kick off their quest for Super Bowls tonight with Eastern Massachusetts playoff games at various sites.

In Division 1A, Dual County League champ Wayland High (11-0) takes on Merrimack Valley champ Central Catholic (8-3) at Lowell's Cawley Stadium (7 p.m.).

Over at Acton-Boxboro, defending Division 2 champion Natick (11-0), riding the state's longest current unbeaten streak (26 games), faces Middlesex League champion Burlington High (11-0).

In Division 3, Tri-Valley League champ Medfield (10-1) plays South Shore champ Abington (11-0) at Brockton (4 p.m.). And in Division 4, Catholic Central champ Marian (9-2) squares off against Boston South champ Brighton (7-3)at Stonehill College (4 p.m.).
