Fossey reached out to his father's friend, Harold Lusk, after Lusk's name appeared on a deck of cards belonging to Fossey's father. Fossey's late father, Tech. Sgt. William Fossey, wrote down the names of prisoners-of-war that he was imprisoned with, reports the Topeka Capital-Journal. The elder Fossey died in 1999, but his son found the cards two months ago. Lusk told the Capital-Journal that he remembered Sgt. Fossey and enjoyed talking to his son. Steve Fossey is compiling a history of his father's military service for future generations. -- Adam Sell Posted by the Boston Globe City & Region Desk at 01:41 PM
