(Photo by Robert E. Klein for The Boston Globe) Hopkinton's Gerard T. Leone will be sworn in as the new Middlesex County district attorney today. Leone, a Hopkinton resident, plans to focus on protections for children and the elderly, the Globe reports. Leone talks about keeping a diverse office and preventing teen crime. He also has the high-profile case of Neil Entwisle to contend with, but Leone's resume includes some major cases already. Leone's career includes prosecutions of shoe bomber Richard Reid and British au pair Louise Woodward. -- Adam Sell Posted by the Boston Globe City & Region Desk at 10:15 AM
