The road to a three-peat for the Newton North boys' basketball team taps off tonight, when the Tigers (17-5) host Bay State Conference foe Framingham (10-10) in a Division 1 South first-round playoff game at 7 p.m. Senior forward Brandon Stephens leads a Tiger squad that is the two-time defending Division 1 state champ.
On the wrestling mat, three sectional dual meet crowns will be decided tonight. Framingham hosts Bay State Conference rival Brookline in the Division 1 Central final at 7, Natick squares off against Catholic Memorial in the Division 2 Central final at 7; and Dual County League rivals Wayland and Weston tangle in the Division 3 Central final in Wayland at 6 p.m.
On the ice, the Hudson boys' hockey team takes on visiting Gardner in a Division 3 Central first-round game at New England Sports Center (8 p.m.)

Highlighting the top performances from Tuesday night's tourney action:
* Junior Chris McKenzie poured in 36 points, collected 14 rebounds and picked off five steals as the Marian boys' basketball team escaped with a wild 111-102 four-overtime victory at West Bridgewater in a Division 4 South first-round game.
* Senior guard Parrish Polk delivered 31 points, 13 rebounds and five steals as the Lincoln-Sudbury boys' basketball team rallied from a 16-point deficit for a 69-59 Division 2 North first-round matchup at Marblehead.
