Bank fax triggers bomb scare in Ashland

ASHLAND

A simple internal reminder about an upcoming Bank of America promotion triggered a bomb scare in Ashland yesterday. Bank of America blames a faulty fax machine at the corporate office. Business owners who lost money in the evacuation that ensued blamed skittish bank workers.

Now the bank may be asked to pay for the emergency response.
