NEWTON

To celebrate it's 50th anniversary, the New England Mobile Book Fair is donating five percent of its pre-tax sales receipts to the Newton Free Library and the schools’ parent teacher organizations.

The contribution is part of the store’s 50th anniversary celebration. Steve Gans, the store’s chief executive officer, is offering the discount through this Friday.
