A 16-year-old Ashland High School student was arrested last week on charges of making a bomb threat at the school.

Following an investigation into the threat, which police say was discovered May 30, officers executed a search warrant at the student's home last Thursday evening.

The student was arrested on charges of making a false bomb threat, threats to commit a crime, vandalism of a school, causing a disturbance in a school, possession of a class D substance, and possession of alcohol by a minor, officials said.
