Override season begins . . . or at least Spring Training

Override season is beginning, and to date only one community - Randolph - in the region south of Boston has made definite plans to put a tax increase before voters, according to this story in Globe South. It is set for the April 1 ballot.

Canton and Middleborough might follow suit in the coming weeks. Elsewhere in the Greater Boston area, Brookline is preparing a $7-million override.
