You don't necessarily need movie experience — or any acting ability — to be an extra in a film. Sometimes all you need is the right look at the right time — whether that means being a Latin woman in your 30s or a trombone-playing man in your 20s.
On average, extras make $112 (nonunion)/$130 (union members) for an eight-hour shoot.
