Think back through your last few jobs. Create a list of all of the skills that you used on a daily basis. As you begin to take a look at what opportunities are available in other fields, look for similarities in the job descriptions and the skills on your list.

For example, if you were a waitress or retail salesperson, your customer service skills could match well with a bank teller or service representative.
